Service Description

Our Beginner's Sewing Class focuses on teaching you the building blocks of sewing while instilling confidence in your new hobby! This session we will be sewing a Heirloom Tree Skirt, just in time for the holidays. Skills that will be taught are some basic piecing methods, basting several layers together like in traditional quilting, top stitching and bias tape binding. Please note: there will be homework for this class each week in order to finish the project in 5 weeks. *The session starts 11/7 due to Halloween **Please note that this class is for people who already have a basic understanding of how to sew. If you do not know how to sew, we offer a monthly, one day event called Learn-to-Sew Saturday.
