Adult Beginner Sewing: Friday Morning

Service Description

Our Beginner's Sewing Class focuses on teaching you the building blocks of sewing while instilling confidence in your new hobby! This session we'll be sewing a patchwork tote bags with options for custom pockets. Students will learn basic quilting techniques that will make your project more precise, how to use different interfacing to make to alter the weight of your bag, and we will be making our own straps. All materials are included, though you are always welcome to bring special fabrics from home to work with. **Please note that this class is for people who already know how to operate a sewing machine, roughly speaking.
